Movement and dance have always been part of my life. I began dancing as a toddler and continued to dance, perform, and choreograph throughout college and after. I moved to New York City to continue focusing on dance and movement and found that yoga was not only something I loved to practice, but it also helped reduce foot pain I had developed from years of dancing. This "aha" moment inspired me to become a yoga teacher so I could help others cope with physical injuries, mental and emotional struggles, or just find clarity and a sense of calm after a hectic New York day.

I teach various styles of yoga including vinyasa, Katonah-style, yin, and prenatal. I teach public classes, private and corporate clients and on national and international yoga retreats with my company Om Tribe Yoga Retreats that I co-founded in 2017. I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and mentorship program in 2014 and 2015 at Yoga Vida in Manhattan, and 50 hours of training with Abbie Galvin and Alex Sharry at Katonah Yoga in Manhattan.

My teaching style focuses on helping you find proper body alignment in order to connect with physical sensation and ultimately discovering your strengths before moving deeper into a posture or state of meditation. My sequences are challenging for students of all levels yet attainable for new students, as I provide many variations for the postures as well as hands-on assists. I am constantly inspired by the teachers and students I encounter in New York and in the worldwide yoga community. I look forward to connecting with you!
